If you read my blog regularly, you know about Koby and his host of ailments. Well, Koby is still Koby and I’m still making him beneficial treats like these Cortisol Reducing Treats. Of course, I have to give my spiel and say, I am a not a Doctor. Lol.
But I like to treat Koby’s health issues naturally and the ingredients in these treats are all in some way proven to reduce Cortisol levels. Plus, they taste good. I know, because I tried one;) Oats, banana, Coconut Oil, Turmeric, Ginger? What’s not to like?
Holy Basil is known for it’s ability to relieve stress and cortisol levels. It’s mostly taken in pill form or as tea. Also known as Tulsi Tea, it’s good for you and tastes good too! Here’s a great article by Dr. Axe on the many benefits of Holy Basil. Of course, you can brew some up for yourself after you have made these treats for your best friend.

By the way, Koby loved these. I have to be careful though and only give him small bites at a time. I’m afraid of what too much Oatmeal will do:)
