Koby approved!

And sometimes, I just need to pet my dog:))) He calms me down and reminds me of what is important in life-LOVE!

Because I love him so much, I want what’s best for him. And that means feeding him good quality foods like my Ground Beef Dog treat Muffins. I am always trying to find ways to make my own treats for Koby.

By making Koby’s treats, I not only know exactly what is going into his body, but I can save money as well. For these Ground Beef Dog Treat Muffins, I used organic ground beef and chopped mixed veggies.

As I’ve mentioned before, Koby has a host of problems, including skin, ear and eye issues. Again this week, I found myself at vet for another eye infection. Koby’s vet actually advised against feeding him chicken, as many dogs are allergic. He seemed to think this could be contributing to his skin issues. This prompted me to go home and try a new recipe using organic ground beef.

Since I had run out of eggs, I originally made this recipe with apple sauce as an egg replacer. I used to do this a lot when Julian was little due to his egg allergy. The muffins with apple sauce were yummy, but didn’t hold the shape as well. And yes, I did try these. Hey! They’re real food after all:)
