These Hydrating Frozen Dog Treats are perfect for a hot, summer day or for when your dog just needs to replenish liquids. He/she will love the combination of banana, cucumber and coconut water. Actually, I love this combination:) It makes a great popsicle;)

Recently, Julian and I went on annual cruise. While we were away, Koby went to stay at his old home. Now, I’ve worked really hard to get him off all the allergens-dairy, gluten, sugar, chicken meal, etc. But I think he gets to eat whatever he wants at his old house. The night he came back, I woke up to vomit all over the floor. Poor Koby! I wanted to help his tummy so I cut up some bananas. That seemed to help.

Later in the day, I wanted to give him something to replenish his electrolytes. Koby loves his veggies and goes crazy for cucumber, so I created these treats. I use Zico Coconut Water just because it is readily available and doesn’t have added sugar. Like my other dog treats, this recipe is super easy-just throw everything in the food processor and blend.

Of course, Koby loved his treats and his tummy has gotten back to normal:)
