These Gluten Free, Omega-3 Dog Treats are a healing way to give your dog some love! Koby loved these, but I love that they are full of good-for-him ingredients including Fish Oil and Ground Flax Seeds.

Omega-3 Dog Treats

I think I worry about Koby just as much as as I worry about Julian. LOL. He constantly has ear, eye and skin infections. He also pants heavily for about an hour after our walks. And I just pray that he is not in pain.

Look at what was uncovered after a haircut!!

Yesterday I took Koby to the groomer and it revealed another (surprise, surprise!) skin infection. We went to the vet today and $300 later, he’s on 5 medications. UGH!

When I got home from the vet, I started googling (as I love to do) healing foods. Fish oils came up on top of the list. I know Koby loves his Tuna and Salmon, so I decided to use Fish oil to make him some treats. I added Flax Seeds not only as binder, but also for the additional Omega-3 Fatty Acid benefits.

Omega-3 Dog Treats

For these Omega-3 Dog Treats, I used Organic, Gluten Free Oats since Koby is on a Gluten-Free diet (like us all;) Seriously, when he does eat gluten, he gets diarrhea.

I didn’t add any sweeteners because sugars are inflammatory and I’m trying to get my boy healthy!! Once again, I made these in one bowl-the trusty bowl of the food processor.
