Indeed, I made these Take a Hike No Bake Energy Muffins the night before a hike up San Jacinto Peak. With a long climb in mind, I created them with energizing ingredients. Dates and bananas are always perfect. But I also threw in some Matcha for the caffeine and Maca for an energy and stamina boost.

Silly me, I didn’t plan very well packaging wise, so we enjoyed these after our hike. And they hit the spot! But next time, I’ll bring them to eat ON the trail:)
