Very Veggie Dog Treats

I don’t know about your dog, buy Koby goes crazy when I’m cutting up green beans, carrots and zucchini for my nightly stir-fry. So, I always set some aside for him to snack on. I’ve been thinking about this recipe for awhile and finally made it.

Very Veggie Dog Treats

These Very Veggie Dog Treats are very much like other dog treat recipes I make. I basically throw everything into the food processor, blend until smooth and then bake. For some reason, these took a bit longer to bake than usual. I think it might be due to the high water content in the veggies. Perhaps if I make them again, I will make sure I press out the zucchini.

As usual, Koby ate them right up-5 of them as soon as I was done photographing, lol. This is him staring at the muffins so intently. So serious, he cracks me up!

Happy Muffin Belly!

This week, Koby had his first play date! And by play date, I mean they sniffed butts and then went their own merry ways:)

Koby was not interested in Butterscotch at all. In fact, when Butterscotch tried to play with him, Koby just brushed right past her. How rude! I thought since they are almost the same age, they would get along. Oh well. I guess it doesn’t work like that for dogs!

Poor Butterscotch!

But, Koby did have a good time at the beach and I got to catch up with my friend (human slave to Butterscotch.)
